I don't see many actually assessing the risks and costs of the ever increasingly inflating Blockchain data size of Ethereum.

I suppose this is the natural progression of a technically illiterate crowd coupled with poor design fundamentals.

Ethereum is and has been suffering from the Tragedy of the Commons dilemma and it's not going to end well.
